Now, with a background in hospitality, years as a trusted driver, and a passion for authentic travel experiences, I’m here to make sure your time in Madeira is unforgettable. Today, I’m proud to call Madeira home, where I live with my young family and my partner, who was born and raised on the island. Together, we’re deeply connected to the spirit and culture of this remarkable place.

A background in service and hospitality

With over a decade of experience in hospitality, I know how to make each guest feel welcomed, comfortable, and truly taken care of. My previous career as head sommelier at one of London’s most prestigious private members’ clubs has given me a deep understanding of what makes an experience special and memorable. So, if we stop for a wine tasting, I’ll be more than happy to share insights and tasting notes to enhance your experience!

I have also worked as a professional taxi driver, developing an intuition for ensuring a smooth and safe ride. In Madeira, navigating winding coastal paths and mountain routes requires more than just basic driving skills—it takes experience and respect for the terrain. I bring both to each tour, allowing you to relax and enjoy the journey while I handle the road with care.

Why Madeira?

After years of travel and exploration, Madeira captured my heart. From the vibrant Laurisilva forests to the serene coastal views, every corner of the island offers something breathtaking. I now live with my family on the island’s beautiful north side—where only 25% of the total population of Madeira live. Living here gives me a local’s perspective on the lesser-seen northern landscape, allowing me to share hidden spots and secret viewpoints that most visitors—and even locals—don’t often experience. My goal is to share these off-the-beaten-path treasures with you, so you can experience the real Madeira, just as I have.
